M2M Energy is an authorized broker of retail energy for residential and non-residential facilities. We sell electric and natural gas through our affiliate retailer which brings an additional 10-15% savings on your electric usage.

Before deregulation in 1999, all businesses received their electric service from one company that generated the electricity, transmitted, and distributed it directly to the business consumer. Currently the generator no longer transmits, distributes or sells electricity directly to the retail business market. The Board of Public Utilities (BPU) continues to regulate the market insuring a safe and reliable supply of electricity. As an authorized broker for our affiliate, M2M Energy is able to provide our clients with a very convenient supplemental alternative.

How it Works

Currently on your utility bill you pay two individual charges; Usage & Delivery. Delivery is typically a standard rate while Usage inflates with the economy and other factors. Since you are purchasing the energy (at a lower rate) from the retailer who does not maintain the grid infrastructure, your discount falls under the Usage and you continue to pay your local provider the Delivery charge. Compared to the delivery charge that is typically a standard flat rate, you can save as much as 15% on your Usage charges and can see a consistently lower rate than from your local provider.

For example, as of September 2010 an average residential JCP&L customer paid 12 cents/kwh for usage and 5 cents/kwh delivery = 17 cents total. Residential retail rate offered at that time was 9.4 cents/kwh (22% usage savings) and 5 cents/kwh delivery = 14.4 cents total. This is a bottom line savings of 15% off your entire electric bill. Although these rates may fluctuate over time, you will remain within your savings margin always paying lower than the current provider rates.

The process to enroll and sign up to start receiving these savings is extremely easy and consumer friendly with no obligation!

For commercial...

1) Provide a copy of your electricity bill to be submitted for an analysis on your usage. To expedite this process you may simply scan and email your bill and contact information to sales@m2menergy.com or fax at 732-415-4050.

2) We provide you with the analysis within a week for your review of the projected savings and if satisfied, sign the contract agreement and within 30 days you begin to save.

For Residential...

Simply contact M2M Energy's Renewables Department to find out what the current rate is. If acceptable, we will begin the enrollment process over the phone and send you a copy of the application for you to sign. You may then fax/scan/email to our Renewables Department: contact us
